Hola me amiga, I'm back and my new computer is wonderful...have missed reading your blog and viewing your wonderul paintings. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and looking forward to a great New Year. Oh, how did your surgery go...was thinking about you??!! Take care always.

ReplyDeleteI can just hear the horns making the "wa-ZOO!" sound!
When I was a little kid my parents would have me and my sister go outside and bang on pots and scream "Happy New Year!" at midnight!
Then they would light little firecrackers for us to throw down the driveway!
Afterwards we would go inside and eat chips and dip and drink pop! And we could stay up until we fell asleep! (which was about a half hour later! Ha! Ha!)
