Magic in the eyes of wonder!

Hello everyone!! Did you have a nice weekend? I had a nice weekend relaxing but keeping busy as always. I will be packing soon to our new home I'm excited yet I'm a bit nervous about my cat being at a new home. I'm afraid of bobcats roaming in the area. What to do! I don't know. I love my cat sooo much, he's like my kid. He roams around the woods here in falls village eating and hunting. But at night He has a curfew about 6 0r 7 o'clock he comes in. Well, I take him inside but he rather stay out and come at 11pm. NONONO!! Well about new home, our home is close to the road. gush, WHAT TO DO!! i HAVE NO IDEA. OH WELL. anyways i CAN'T KEEP HIM IN BECAUSE OF FEAR. He WILL MEOW MEOW SO LOUD. i JUST NEED TO TRUST AND NOT BE AFRAID + I'm ALWAYS HOME, SUCH ANXIETY.

  2. I understand your anxiety and fear that something might happen to your little sweet cat, but as you said, you can't keep him in all the time. I've had 3 cats in my lifetime and 2 were indoor cats and 1, outside. The outside cat loved to hang with our 3 dogs outside, but when my wonderful Charro died, she was a black Belgium shepard, we got Merle, an Australian shepard, who hated cats. So my poor little Percy could no longer hang out with Edgar, a shaggy little terrier, nor Madge, our basset hound. So I started bringing him in during the day, and he went out at night. He was very happy being in doors!! LOL Always curled up on my bed while I worked in my studio, which was a small area off my bedroom. Wish I could have more cats, but my hubby doesn't want any but I think I need something to keep my Chihuahuas in line...they're so spoiled!!

Send me your address when your settled in you new home...want to send you a house warming gift and a copy of La Llorona CD by Joan Baez. Take care and don't worry about your little cat...just enjoy.

    Abrazos,
    Georgina

  3. I understand how you feel about your cat. I have two and they have a curfew also. They are in by 4. I am afraid of the coyotes and raccoons! I understand that raccoons will befriend a dog for instance to get at its food bowl and then attack it if it tries to get near.

    Love your art!

  4. I know exactly what you are feeling! One of my first posts was about my cat "Ghost" who disappeared for a month and 3 days! I know that others will disagree, but I now don't let any of my kitties outside! - but they DO have the whole house to roam plus a designated bedroom that's all their own! I have a half door on it instead of a regular door so that the cats can go in and out of "their" room at will and also get away from the dogs when they need to. Good Luck with whatever you decide...that's why it's a good thing I didn't have children! They would all be wearing harnesses attached to bungee cords tied to the house! I worry too much!

  5. That is so hard. We have three cats all of whom could never survive as indoor cats. They roam as they were meant to even if its a risk. I had cats in rural Hood River, Or too and my cats braved coyotes, badgers, and bobcats too and they made it! I'm sending safe kitty vibes your way!
