It is always about ♥

Finding my own way in the colors

Done in texture paste, acrylic on stonehedge cold press paper 3 x 3.5
There are two more small piece just like this one. I love working in a small scale sometimes. It relaxes me. Channeling my feeling with paint is the best healing because love comes and takes over. These pieces look great in a white frame. It brings the colors out!
Let love take over no matter how difficult life can be sometimes

Here she is, my whimsical cat named Talula!

CatTalula, for short I call her Tallie and I adoreeeee her ♥

Done in Papier mache and acrylic.

Her arms are done in wire tape and kraft brown paper. I used a planter wire vase also made out of branches and cover it with tape and paper mache the whole body structure. Her head is done in paper mache and ears in brown card board also in paper mache, Then gesso it after it was totally dry for three days. She then was painted in acrylic. Her height is - 20 inches long.

I had such a wonderful time creating her. I'm so inspired. I can't wait to create a Rabbit, Fox and Frida in this form!

Enjoy!

Papier Mache love!

 Hi folks!
I'm been creating with Papier Mache for the past two days. Is now my third day and she is now complete. I can't wait to paint Ms Cat lady! She's pretty tall and so much fun to work with. I'm enjoying myself very much. I love to get my hands all messy. Down below you will see the first process. I been meaning to do a cat doll out of papier mache for a while now and finally found the time to create her.
Stage two is to paint her which is the fun part for me. But first I'm going to sketch her out on paper!
See you soon!

Bringing my baby bird back to life!

I woke up at 6 this morning and started to clean house and feed the babies. I have a new member in our family and his name is Chupy. I found hime on the side walk between two large Palm trees. Luckily I saw the poor baby brown dove. It limps poor thing. I think it fractured it's leg when he fell from the nest. So I took him home to take care of him. This was a week an a half ago. He knows it's name and gets excited when he sees me in the morning. It's really cute I must say me being the Momma bird and all. But sadly I will have to let him go. I feed him and give him water but he is also learning how to eat on it's own. I feed him every six hours. Check his pouch to see if he's full. I don't know what to do about his leg though. Will he survive in the wild all on it's own? I hope so. Once he gets enough strength in his wings and legs he will be able to fly. I will set him free!

Now I'm ready to paint ♥
