Happy Boo Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

Colorful October
This piece is done in acrylic and charcoal on stonehenge 100% rag paper 19" x 22"
It's Boo Halloween!
The end of October coming into November, wow how fast it goes.
This month was a lot of fun for me. Last night we went to the movies in Millerton NY and it was fun just to get out and do something rather then staying at home working. My hubby and I work a lot and we both need to have fun and leave the work behind to spend quality time together. And so we did!
We did not get dresses up but we sure enjoyed watching others in their costumes late last night.
Well, it's back to work fun week!
See you this week with more new goodies!
Have fun today!

Paloma libre

The Rebirth of Frida
This piece is done in acrylic collage mix media on Vincent Rossini watercolor 140lb handmade paper 22" x 26"

I'm painting again! And I'm so so happy I am! I had art block for a month. When I feel I'm in a rut, I rearrange the studio and clean. I also go for a walk, write in my journal and sketch ideas in my book. I have been dabbling with crafty goodies lately and it's a lot of fun! But painting is what I love love to do. I love to challenge myself into the mix of art which allows me to grow as an artist. I'm not afraid to try knew things.
Here I just finished a Frida piece I'm so I love with. I love the fact that I used red magenta blue  purple orange and white. Usually when painting a piece I use all the colors but this time I wanted to stick with these colors also adding collage to the mix and the end result came out beautiful!
I must say Frida is having lots of fun far away in the heavens. She lives in the hearts of so many wonderful women. She comes to life every time we paint her and I believe she loves every minute of it. She is free! The passion she conveyed grows inside all of us.
Frida here here to you, la paloma libre en el viento!

The season color cuff

The season color wrist cuff
I love love the fall, my favorite season. I'm about to get all colored up. The colors of fall inspire me greatly. The sweaters, the leggings, the mittens, the funky scarves, the hot chocolate and squash and ginger soup which by the way, is one of my favorites.Being an artist I can't help but design beautiful things that make the heart the spirit happy. I love to smudge my fingers in paint and love enjoy needle felting.

Here I have for you the season color cuff.
It is made of 2mm wool felt and hand spun yarn and it's Hand needle felted. Beautifully designed created by me.
The cuff measures 7inches long and 2.5 inches wide. Also featuring a deep cherry button and elastic cord. The cuff hugs softly around the wrist and it's comfortable to wear.

Patches of land pendants at Oodle stitch & Fold

Hello Everyone! It's been hmmm, let's see 6 days and I'm back! Been working hard for the upcoming holidays. It's almost November, can you believe how fast it's going, my god. Well it's almost Halloween yessssss spooooooooooooooky! Well, I opened up a new shop on Etsy. I thought and I been thinking about it for months now of opening up a bran new shop solely for my crafty goodies. I wanted to separate my craft from my paintings. And thought it was a good idea. I call it, Oodle Stitch and Fold on Etsy There you will see clutches, pendants made of colorful fun fabric and felt, plushes, rings, necklaces and more. Now I have coin purses made of vinyl with decorative paper I love
Come check it out when you get a chance!
What's new! Here I have created new pendants made of wool fabric and decorative fabric stitched to cotton Webb and100% wool fabric I get at my favorite yarn shop here in Kent CT and in Millerton NY called Twisted for the colorful twisted artists who loves and enjoys creating cooool things.
The new pendants are called Land patches. And the reason I call all my pendants that are all done in fabric, it reminds me being in an airplane. And when it's about to land and I look out the window and see all the beautiful patches of land way up in the sky and it soothes my soul. It is also like seeing an abstract painting from above as well. I love them! I enjoy creating these beautiful organic pendants! I hope you enjoy them.  My Second shop is
Enjoy and have a sunshine day smile!!!

She is done with 100% butter soft wool fabric, hand needle felt, and yarn and her measurements are 11.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide fill with polyfil.

Trick or Treeeeeeaaaaat for you!

Done in acrylic and charcoal on 100% cotton acid free stonehenge paper 5" x 7"
Another late night last night. I love love staying up late when everyone is asleep. I enjoy my space my time better. An artist always needs a space to think and  be himself . Is just you mingling with ideas after idea swimming in your head staring at your canvas, no distractions just you and the space to allow you to let go.

A bitch on wheels, Happy Halloween hehehehehehehe!!!
