Older paintings I wanted to share
These are my older paintings from 2008 and I love them! I change so much since then. While I was playing around with collage this morning on wood block it reminded me of the medium I used for these old paintings which was a lot of fun and I decided to pick it up again. I used hand made decorative thin indian rice paper for this- using mod podge. Then I figure out - that instead of using mod podge, a friend of mine who is an amazing artist suggested I use elmer's glue - saves me a lot of money. And it worked just perfectly - just diluted with a bit of water and bam! You have all the glue you want. And when it dries it gives you that brilliant finish. So here are the paintings I did and I want to share it with you in case you have not sen them before.
Hey Magaly!
ReplyDeleteI love these pieces. I had not seen them. They are incredible my friend! Thanks for sharing!!
These painting are wonderful. HOwever, they are painful. They are very different from your current work, but still fabulous. It seems your 2008 was like my 1999...could relate to all of them.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years, sweet lady, and glad to see you're back.
Muchos besos y abrazos,
