What's new! As some of you may know, We are moving to Puerto Rico. I can't believe how fast June is going. I mean really and I wish it can go faster cause I am so excited to be there. But need to have patience. I have great news - I QUIT SMOKING AND IT'S BEEN 15 DAYS! I am happy and proud of myself. I need to tell you that it has been very hard. You have no idea how many slips I had. But now I can honestly say to myself I'm done. I hate having something control me. I am in control and it feels great!  The worst thing you can do to your body.  Now I need to apologize if I have not come to visit your blogs. But I will once I settle down and feel totally home. I may not post any painting. I have so much to do I am overwhelmed. But my shop is open if you love to have a piece from me. I will let you all know when the shop will be close. Well my lovely artists have a wonderful week!

  1. What a gorgeous necklace!! And congratulations on kicking that nasty habit. The first time I gave it up was for 20 years, after 12 years of smoking. In 1996, I started up again after my ex and I broke up, then I gave it up, then took it up again, then gave it up..you know the routine??!!??!!

Then about 3 years ago, I was still smoking, I came home from visiting my daughter in Austin, TX and lit up my first cig for the day, in the morning, on our backyard patio...it tasted terrible and it was a brand new pack. I had another later on in the morning and again, it tasted like caca!! My stepdaughter came over and I bummed one off of her and it also tasted terrible, so I took that as the Universe telling to quit and I did. Haven't had another since and not even interested.

How exciting about your move. I have an old friend from Puerto Rico...we just hooked up again after several years...thanks to Facebook. She's a crazy kind of lady and loves life...wish we lived closer...she lives in FL now...wanted to know if I wanted to fly out with her to Barcelona...told her the airfare alone from El Paso, TX to Tampa would cost as much at the flight to Barcelona...wish i could go...we always had so much fun while we lived in Europe...always getting into trouble!! LOL

Have a great week and again congrats and love the necklace.

    Abrazos,
    Georgina

  5. I can feel your excitement Magaly! I've moved across country but never to a different country...I'm sure there's tons more to do than I ever had to do. I'm so happy happy happy you're going home. My home is Virginia...when I die I will be there beside my love, my best friend, my soul mate, Don! Will you still have your Etsy store after you move? Oh I do hope so...but I suppose there will be issues about shipping. Where ever you are your beautiful art will bring color and emotion to more and more people! Can't remember if I told you I watched the documentary about Frida Kahlo...her art like yours is filled with so much passion! I know you'll keep us posted about your move and how you're doing in Puerto Rico! Love and hugs, Theanne
