The colorful Poetry Workshop

Spill your lovely hearts into paint and words.

What the workshop is about is spilling your soul in words and into color.

Poems are to be short and meaningful to you.
Your poems could be about things you love and things that inspire your life. 
Colors will be a welcoming interaction with your poems based on symbols, nature and anything abstract. Make room in your piece to write your poems be whimsical about how you add your poems to your piece of Art.

Orange peels,Tangerine bells
Sunrise Glory honey sweet smell
Running in fields rolling in green grass and writing stories

We will be using watercolor only. 

Don't be intimidated if you don't know how watercolor works for you, I will show you. 

Be liquid, fearless and eloquent in the way you express yourselves in this wonderful medium called watercolor. Watercolor is going with the flow.

A demonstration about the workshop will be posted on Saturday Evening! 

Supplies - Note - Koi watercolor cakes or tubes are just fine.
Please get - 1 watercolor arches paper sheet 140lb cold press and pencil. And get 5 - 4 x 6 canvases. These are pretty inexpensive. You will be cutting the arches paper into 4 x 6. Yes, we will be working small!

The workshop will begin on March 1, 2014 till the end of March. You will have time to prepare.
Anyone can participate!

Four Videos 
1. Video 1 - A poem about nature. Anything that involves nature, write a small poems and paint a piece based on that poem. Short and Sweet!

Example:

With that small poem I would paint ferns, a cup of tea, A book laying in the grass, birds flying in the sky, dew drops of rain and stemmed flowers.

Note that a lot of what I mentioned about the piece isn't written in the poem. It doesn't matter because it's all about nature and is soley my dream and with that being said, I can create and do as I please in my dream. I would love for you to do the same.
